How is it Processed?

Handpicked, Washed & Sun Dried:

  1. Ripe coffee cherries are handpicked.
  2. Pulp is removed from cherries.
  3. Beans are briefly fermented in a water tank to remove the mucilage, or sticky layer, that surrounds the beans.
  4. Next the coffee takes a detour from the conventional path of processing in other origins, wherein, the coffee parchment is removed while the coffee still has a high moisture content. This wet-hulling process or Giling Basah leaves the coffee bean exposed while drying on patios to a moisture percentage acceptable for export and gives the beans their distinct bluish color.
  5. Beans are washed in clean water.
  6. Dried on raised beds in the sunshine.

The best coffee for espresso machine

Best and Most Unique Taste

I ordered these Bali coffee beans for my son-in-law, as one of his birthday presents. He is from Italy and drinks expresso daily. He said that this was very delicious and had a unique flavor that he really enjoyed. He also said it tasted fresh and nutty. He is particular about his expresso, but said this was one of the all time best! Thank you for creating such an exotic blend! It was a hit!

Great coffee for pourover OR Cold Brew

My wife and I are picky and really only drink dark roast, so we ordered the Bali. First we tried via our pour over and it totally hit the spot. I mean this as a total compliment but its like a super elevated and high class Folgers. Super drinkable and smooth. Classic.

We were hosting some visitors and decided to make a big cold brew batch with the rest and it is PERFECT for cold brew. The dark roast gets all the bitter taste out making for the ideal cold brew.
