Organic Farm Info

CAFESCOR is a coop created in 2014 with just 25 farmers that has grown to over 130 farmers and 400 hectares. Our organic beans come from the Copan region of Honduras, known for its high-quality Arabica coffee. The coffee is grown at high altitudes, which gives it a rich, complex flavor.

How is it Processed?

Washed & Sun Dried:

  1. Ripe coffee cherries are picked.
  2. Pulp is removed from cherries.
  3. Beans are briefly fermented in a water tank remove the mucilage, or sticky layer, that surrounds the beans.
  4. Beans are washed in clean water.
  5. Dried on raised beds in the sunshine.
